Are your teachers certified?

The Archdiocese of Washington, DC has mandated that all teachers will be certified to teach within three (3) years of their date of hire. St. Mary’s is proud to have certified, experienced and dedicated teachers on our faculty. Staff is always engaged in professional development. We also have several teachers who hold Masters degrees in education.

What grade levels are offered at St. Mary’s School?

St. Mary’s is a Pre-K-3 through 8th grade school. We offer a comprehensive and challenging curriculum. In addition to the core content courses, we offer Religion, Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Computer Technology and Media Curriculum. We also have Accelerated Reading and Math which is available to all of our students using our mobile iPad and laptop lab as well as our up-to-date computer lab. We also offer instrumental band, drama, Destination Imagination (DI), SeaPerch, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs. We offer a sports program in volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, and track along with the other Catholic schools in the area. We have been providing an excellent, Catholic education for 100¬†years to the students of Bryantown and surrounding areas.

Where is St. Mary’s School located?

St. Mary’s is located at 13735 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617. We are off of Oliver Shop Road, across from T.C. Martin Elementary School.
