Fundraisers

St. Mary’s School holds a number of fundraisers throughout the school year. The money earned from these events is used to help fund special projects around the school or purchase items from the school’s wish list. Not only do these events help school staff provide the best education possible to their students, they are a great way for the school and Church communities, as well as the community at large, to come together for some family fun.

Six Month Raffle

The six month Raffle pays one monthly winner $1,000. There will be one drawing a month for six months. Drawings are held on the first Friday of the month from January 2011 through June 2011. If a person wins one month, their name is still kept in the drawing for subsequent months. Each school family is required to sell 14 raffle tickets for the Fall Raffle by Wednesday, November 1, 2010. Tickets cost $25. Winners will be notified by phone, announced in the school's weekly newsletter, posted on the website, and announced in the church bulletin.

Annual Christmas Bazaar & Auction

The first Saturday of each December, St. Mary’s Home & School Association holds its Christmas Auction & Bazaar at the school. In the past auction items have included, golf and wine packages, chartered fishing trips, theater and restaurant certificates, sports memorabilia, vehicles, trips and much more! All auction items can be viewed in advance at the Auction Preview the Thursday prior to the auction.

The bazaar includes wreaths, a boutique corner, baked goods table, hot food, children’s games, $1,000 raffle and Santa’s Secret Workshop for students.

Let’s Make a Deal

Let's Make a Deal, presented by St. Mary’s Bryantown Church & School & the Greater Waldorf Jaycees, is held in the early spring each year. Next year's event will be held on March 4, 2011.

The evening includes dinner, a live game show, music, chances to win great prizes and more! Costumes are encouraged, casual dress welcomed. Double your chance to play Let’s Make A Deal by appearing in costume. Special prizes for the best costume, couple in costume and group in costume. Don’t forget to bring the unusual along with you – never know when a special prize will be yours for that unique item.

Spring Mulch Sale

St. Mary's Bryantown is holding a Spring Mulch Sale. The last day to place an order is March 4, 2011. Pick up will be held at the school on March 12. Free delivery is available for orders of 50 or more bags. Click here for an order form.

Field of Honor

From May 19-21,2011, a living display of American flags will fly in the field at St. Mary's Bryantown School to honor the Heroes in Our Lives and as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans. We are inviting families and friends from all over the region to walk this Field of Honor and sponsor a flag to be flown in honor of a loved one, parent, teacher, or hero in your life; a member of the armed forces; law enforcemen; or an emergency first responder. These 3 ft. x 5 ft. flags will stand atop 8ft. poles in perfect rows and columns.

Individual flags can be sponsored for $36, have it shipped for $45 or make a donation. Your sponsorship includes a 3 ft. x 5 ft. American flag, mounted on an 8 ft. pole (yours to keep after the event); Ribbon for entering the name of your honoree; Set-up of flag at the Field of Honor; Your flag on exhibit from May 19-21, 2011; Escorts to guide you to your flag location during the opening event on May 19. After the event, flags will be available for pick-up on Sunday, May 22, from 12:00 to 3:00. Please make checks payable to St. Mary's Bryantown.
